Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During his two-day visit to Latur and Beed districts, deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar stated that he chooses not to engage in arguments with the opposition as his party has numerous welfare schemes and development projects to showcase. In response to Union minister Nitin Gadkari's comments on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed surprise and mentioned that he plans to discuss this matter with Gadkari upon his return to Mumbai. Addressing a large gathering in Beed district's Majalgaon, Pawar emphasized the government's commitment to inclusive development and urged support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections. He reiterated the party's unwavering dedication to secular principles, inspired by historical figures such as Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pawar highlighted various government initiatives, including the Jan Sanman Yatra, which aims to raise awareness about these programs. He specifically mentioned the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana, providing financial assistance to hardworking women, as well as other schemes like free education for girls, electricity bill waivers for farmers, and crop insurance for Re 1. Additionally, Pawar outlined efforts to support various sectors of society through subsidies and increased honorarium for key roles.He mentioned that all of these initiatives would be ongoing for the next five years should the Mahayuti receive support in the upcoming elections. "I ask for your blessings and steadfast support for Mahayuti in this election," he declared.
